Fun rummy game to make with a 4th of July theme.

Making games can be as much fun as playing them. Kids can print out and laminate these mermaid rummy cards for themselves or for a younger brother or sister.

Directions:

Deal out 5 cards. Place the rest of the cards in a draw pile. Put one card face up. This is your discard pile. Players may either draw from the draw pile or take the top card on the discard pile.

If they keep the card they draw or pick one up the must discard a card. You can only have 7 cards in your hand.

After drawing a card the player may lay down any sets of three cards alike he has. They can be the same numbers (all 2's, etc) or the same animal.

The round is over when someone gets rid of all their cards. Whoever has the most sets wins.

Now see who is the rummy champion. Watch for more fun games to print and make.

Click on each link. There are 4 pages in all. Print off each page, laminate or cover with clear contact paper and cut out. Ignore the blank green card in the middle of the page.
