Make your own watering can for lots of fun in the garden. Perfect daycare or preschool project.

Make a Watering Can

Spend time watering the plants in your garden or yard with your very own watering can. This is a perfect project for toddlers and preschoolers, with an adult punching the holes while they decorate the cans.

What you will need:

half gallon milk jug

nail

permanent markers or water proof paints

What you do:

1. Wash out the milk jug.

2. Decorate your milk jug with markers, paints or even stickers.

3. Punch several small holes in the front of the jug. (If you're not sure where the front is, hold the jug by the handle and pretend to pour water from it.)

4. Pour in some water. Water the plants.
