Apple Cinnamon Dough Recipe

Use this dough to make wonderful smelling Christmas tree ornaments.

A simple to make kid's crafts that smells YUMMY! Applesauce and cinnamon mix together to make a great dough for making ornaments for the Christmas tree.

This is a wonderful applesauce cinnamon dough recipe that was shared with me. Let the kids have fun rolling it out and using cookie cutters to make all types of shapes. Use a straw to put a hole in the top before baking. When hard glue on wiggly eyes, ribbon, glitter or even fabric clothes if your making gingerbread men.

A nice easy craft for kids of all ages will enjoy doing. They are nice for tying on packages, hanging in the window or giving as gifts. The heat from the Christmas lights witll send the scent of cinnamon throughout your house. A nice alternative way to make gingerbread ornaments and houses.

APPLE CINNAMON DOUGH

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup ground cinnamon
  • 1 cup applesauce
  • 1/4 cup white school glue (optional)

Directions:

  1. Add the cinnamon to the applesauce until you get a clay-like consistency.
  2. You may add glue for added thickness.
  3. Once the dough is mixed, create shapes with your hands or roll the dough out and use cookie cutters.
  4. Add glitter for fun!
  5. Let the dough dry.

Store unused dough in a bowl with plastic
