Face painting and body painting is something almost every kid enjoys doing. Body Paint for Kids
You will need the following supplies:
2 cups baby shampoo (you can use the tearless as well but it is best to avoid getting into the eyes)
different colored powdered tempura paints
airtight container for each color you want to make - personal size empty travel shampoo bottles work great for this easy art project
What you do:
1. Divide the shampoo into several portions. You may want to make several colors or have enough for the whole group to play with.
2. Start adding the powdered tempura paint in small amounts. As you add a small amount, stir and shake well. Keep adding until the shampoo is a nice medium bright color. You do not want to make the shampoo extra dark.
3. Repeat for each color that you want to make.
This fun kid's craft body paint recipe is so easy to make. You can even give it as gifts for birthdays and Christmas. This makes a fun craft to do with the kids during the warmer weather months. After making their very own body paint they can then go outside and paint each other all they want. Simply turn on the hose or sprinkler and let them run through to rinse the body paint off.
