Coloring sheets are a great way to entertain kids quietly. But they can be so much more! The ideas for decorating them are endless. make your own coloring book.
Print these coloring pages on cardstock and paint them, use chalk to color them or markers. Make them 3-D by adding fabric, sequins, feathers and even tin foil.
Many of the history and science coloring sheets are quite detailed and appropriate for older kids, homeschool notebooks and teachers to use in the classroom.
Make sure you read the Printing Tips before you print.

Jo Murphy :
I am working on creating colouring sheets for my emotionscapes I can send
you the link for those when they are ready if you like. The first one
will be called Landscape of Commitment. http://artseducation.suite101.com/article.cfm/landscape_of_commitment You are right colouring sheets are great - however I don't use them much
in the class room as I always expect the kids to draw for themselves. On Friday I gave them a printout I had printed onto painting paper and
asked them to paint it and when dry work with oil pastels on top.
That worked out well.
I am enjoying your topic,
Jo
