A wonderful keepsake made from your child's handsprints.

Make a Handprint Butterfly

What you need:

Construction paper

Glue

Pipe cleaners

Magnet

Sequins, glitter, etc for decorating

What you do:

Trace both your hands on the same color construction paper. Cut them out. These are your upper wings. Now repeat with a different color. These are your bottom wings.

Draw a butterfly head and body and cut out. Glue the wings onto the back of the body.

Draw eyes on the head. Draw designs on the wings and add sequins or glitter to the body.

Cut two pieces of pipe clean and bend on the end to look like antennae. Glue to the back of the head.

Glue a magnet to the back in the middle of the body. Display on the refrigerator.
