What You Need:
- A wooden step ladder or stool
- Spray paint (your favorite color - choose a color that coordinates with colors in your house)
- Sponges (you can buy pre-cut shaped sponges designed for stenciling or make your own)
- Letter Stencils
- Craft Paint (choose colors that will go with the main spray paint color)
- Newspaper
Getting Started: Prepare the Ladder
You will want to work either outside or in a large open room like a garage. Spread the newspaper on the floor over your work area. Now set the stepladder on top of the newspaper. Spray paint the stepladder with your base color making sure you cover the entire step ladder. Let the step ladder dry overnight and then you will be ready to go to work.
