Make A Clay Tablet

You will need:

modeling clay (it can either be air drying or oven drying)

a popsicle stick or sturdy twig

What you do:

Shape the clay into a rectangle. Roll it thin enough to be a tablet but thick enough to write on.

Sand your popsicle stick or twig on one end until it is pointy enough to write with. Younger children can use lollipop sticks or unsharpened popsicle sticks.

Draw some heiroglyphics on your clay. Try and tell a story. Let it dry for a few days. If your's is the kind that need baked but it in the oven.
