Take some pompoms, glue and a little creativity and you will get a friendly little lovebug. A easy kid's craft for Valentine's Day.

Be sure and make several of these little cuddly bugs to share with all your friends. Leave the magnet off and see what else you can do with him. Try glueing him to headband or making a necklace.

Make a Valentine Love Bug

You will need :

  • 2 large pink pompoms
  • 1 medium white pompom
  • 1 white or pink pipe cleaner (chenille stem)
  • 1 small pink pompom
  • 1 tiny pink pompom
  • 1 pink, red or white pipe cleaner
  • heart sequins or stickers
  • 2 small wiggly eyes
  • magnet

1. First glue the 2 medium pink pompoms together. They will go side to side.

2. Next glue the medium white pompom at the top where the pink poms come together. This is your head.

3. Now glue the small pink pompom on the other end for your tail.

4. Cut about 1/4 of the pipe cleaner. Bend in a V shape and glue right behind the head.

5. Add wiggly eyes and the small pink pompom for the nose. Glue on pink sequins to decorate.

6. Glue magnet on the bottom.
