Make an alphabet book you and your child can read again and again.

What could be more fun than making your very own book? Make this alphabet book and reinforce early learning skills.

What you need:

14 sheets of construction paper - cut the same size

scissors

glue stick

pictures from old magazines, clipart, etc

markers or crayons

hole punch

yarn

What you do:

1. Punch three holes evenly down one side of each sheet of paper. Make sure the holes match up.

2. On your first page write your title. (Your child's name) Alphabet Book.

2. On each page write the capital and lower case letter. One letter per page.

3. Go through the magazines looking for pictures that start with that letter. Cut them out and glue them in your book.

4. This could be an ongoing project. You might even want to make pages for the long and short vowel sounds.
