A candy tree that is the perfect table decoration for any time of the year.

You can use different candies depending on the season. For Easter or spring use pastel colored candies, chocolate eggs or marshmallow peeps wrapped in plastic wrap. For fall use candy corn, gold coins or chocolate covered in bright orange foil. For Christmas time use red and green kisses, chocolate coins or candies covered in holiday foil. Just remember the candies need to sit flat on the table.

Use these trees as table decorations for parties of all kinds. Instead of shaping like a tree use different colors and just leave in a coil shape. Brightly colored coils would look fun at a birthday party!

You can use miniature candy bars as the base. Add a small paper star or ornament on the top for name place holders.

What you need:

1 Green chenille stem for each tree

1 Chocolate candy for the base of each tree

scissors

pencil or wooden towel (for winding the pipe cleaner)

construction paper if making name plates

What you do:

1. Wind the chenille stem around a pencil or your finger. Remove from pencil and shape the coil into more of a tree shape.

2. Bend one end down and press firmly into chocolate candy.

3. Glue name tags on if desired.
