The pirates have captured the gold and jewels. But how many are there?

This is another great item to go in a literacy bag for How I became a Pirate.

NOTE: Save the graphics to your computer if you are having trouble printing things

from the link. Right click on them and choose SAVE AS. Then open the graphic on your

favorite program, check the print size and print.

Directions for make the math mats:

Print out the mat, numbers and counters. Cut out the numbers and counters.

Laminate or cover everything with clear contact paper.

    I've printed all the parts, now how do I play?

    On the math you place a number. Then the child couts out an equal number of cois or jewels. It's a practice counting game.
