Here are a few crafts that can be used when you are teaching preschoolers about the Bible. They are not difficult to make and require few materials.

Mini Garden: Use for Creation

  • 7 Paper cups, the same size
  • Large polystyrene tray
  • Masking tape
  • Potting soil
  • Pebbles
  • Plant seeds (varying kinds)

Directions:

  1. Place the cups on the foam tray with one cup in the center and the other six cups around it.
  2. Tape the cups together with the masking tape along the rims.
  3. Place pebbles 1/8 of the way up on the bottom of each cup. This allows the soil to drain excess water.
  4. Fill the cups about 3/4 full of potting soil. Sprinkle a few seeds in each cup. Cover the seeds with a thin layer of potting soil.
  5. Sprinkle some water on top of the soil, only enough to make it damp.
