This Valentine’s Day why not throw a party and invite all your friends? These fun recipes and crafts can also be made for a special dinner for your family as well. There’s a fizzy punch recipe and how to make candy roses for tasty candy bouquets.

Red Hot Valentine’s Day Jell-O

Ingredients:

Directions:

  1. Pour the boiling water carefully into a bowl. Stir in the cherry Jell-O and the cinnamon candies and stir until they both are dissolved completely.
  2. Let the cherry mix sit until it has cooled off. Next add the pineapple and the applesauce. Stir to mix.
  3. Pour the Jell-o into your favorite mold or leave in the glass bowl to set. Refrigerate for several hours.

Delicious Valentine Trifle

What you need:

  1. Slice the pound cake and lay it on the bottom and sides of the bowl. In a separate bowl make the pudding using the 1 1/2 cups milk instead of what the box says to use. Let sit for a few minutes to thicken.
  2. Add 1 cup of the whip topping to the pudding folding in carefully. Put half of the strawberries on top of the pound cake. Next pour the pudding over it all.
  3. Add the rest of the strawberries on top of the pudding. Spread the rest of the whip topping over the trifle. Chill for at least 4 -6 hours before serving.

Sweetheart Part Punch

  1. Pour the cranberry juice and soda together in a large punch bowl. Add the frozen strawberries and the slices of lemons and limes. Add ice. Sever immediately

More Party Ideas:

Make heart shaped invitations that you decorate yourself.

Spread tiny candy hearts around the edges of red and white plates.

Twist strips of pink and white tulle loosely together an put down the middle of the table. Tuck flowers into the fold.

Buy plastic champagne glasses and glue tiny hearts and flowers on the base.
