A great resource to have in your craft closet.

Water prrof paints are paints that do not run, smear or come off when exposed to water. Oil paints and acrylics are usually water proof.

You would use water proof paints when painting items that are going to be exposed to the outdoors, such as bird feeders. Water play toys are another example of things you would want to use water proof paint.

There are many wonderful spray paints that are water proof. You can even buy clear acrylic spray that will seal in and make water proof other types of paints.

CAUTION: When using spray paints of any kinds be sure and use them outside or in a large room with plenty of ventilation. Never allow children to sue these types of paint alone.
